If you've signed up for AOL's Search and Recover service but lost or, didn't receive your confirmation email, resend it and complete your registration. Go to your subscriptions page. Locate the product and click Manage. Under "Get Started" on the right side click Resend confirmation email.

When you get a message that seems to be from AOL, but it doesn't have those 2 indicators, and it isn't alternatively marked as AOL Official Mail, it might be a fake email.
