Paravastu Chinnayasuri (1806/7–1861/2) [1] was a Telugu writer who played a prominent role in the elevation of prose to importance in Telugu literature. [2] He was the first Telugu Pandit at the Presidency College, Madras. [3] He also worked as a law scholar for the Supreme Court of East India Company.
Tilak wrote his first story at the age of 11, which is said to have been published in the Madhuri Magazine. At the age of 16, he started writing poetry and developed his unique writing style. [citation needed] His most famous work, Amrutham Kurisina Ratri, was translated into English as The Night the Nectar Rained by Velchala Kondal Rao.
Pedda Bala Siksha is an encyclopedia in the Telugu language, suitable for children and adults. The book covers literature, arts, culture, morals, games, mythology, and science. It was considered part of the academic syllabus for students until the 1960s. [citation needed]

Asavadi Prakasa Rao (2 August 1944 – 17 February 2022) was an Indian poet, critic, translator and scholar, who is known for his poetry and prose works.He is noted for his significant contribution to Telugu and Sanskrit literature.

Telugu literature includes poetry, short stories, novels, plays, and other works composed in Telugu. There is some indication that Telugu literature dates at least to the middle of the first millennium. The earliest extant works are from the 11th century when the Mahabharata was first translated to Telugu from Sanskrit by Nannaya.
