Ohio Village is a living history museum in Columbus, Ohio, United States. It is operated by the non-profit Ohio History Connection . The village, intended to provide a firsthand view of life in Ohio during the American Civil War , opened July 27, 1974, on 15 acres (61,000 m 2 ) adjacent to the Ohio History Center in north Columbus.

The Museum of Catholic Art and History, a part of the Diocese of Columbus, [2] was founded by Kevin Lutz, a priest of the Diocese. The museum was founded in 1998 at the prompting of bishop James Griffin in honor of the Great Jubilee declared by Pope John Paul II for the year 2000, leading to the original name of the institution, the Jubilee Museum.
The school has existed, in various guises, since 1233, [5] although it did not come to be known as Ayr Academy until 1794, when a Royal Charter converted the school into Ayr Academy. It moved from the Sandgate to a new location situated on Fort Street in 1800, with a further extension to the building added in the 1930s.
