Blue Hills Reservation is a 7,000-acre (2,800 ha) state park in Norfolk County, Massachusetts in the United States. Managed by the Massachusetts Department of Conservation and Recreation , it covers parts of Milton , Quincy , Braintree , Canton , Randolph , and Dedham .
Blue Hills Ski Area is located on the western face of Great Blue Hill in Canton, Massachusetts. The first segment of Blue Hill River Road begins at a four-way junction with Washington Street (Massachusetts Route 138) and Royall Street (its western continuation) in Canton. It is about 1/2 mile in length, becoming Hillside Street at the Milton line. Its north side is dense forest with stone outcrops, and rising elevation into the hills.

The parkway is a connecting road between the Blue Hills Reservation and the Neponset River Reservation, [2] and was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2003. [1] The parkway's northern terminus is a six-way intersection in southern Mattapan, a neighborhood in the far south of Boston.
It is exceeded in height by Great Blue Hill and Chickatawbut Hill, both in the Blue Hills Reservation. It is not to be confused with the much lower, historically significant Prospect Hill near Union Square in Somerville. There are two different summits; Big Prospect, at 485 feet (148 m), and Little Prospect at 435 feet (133 m).
