The Houston Street Viaduct (formerly the Dallas-Oak Cliff Viaduct) is a viaduct in Dallas, Texas, that carries Houston Street across the Trinity River, connecting Downtown Dallas and Oak Cliff. Designed by Ira G. Hedrick, it was built in 1911, and is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. [2]

Constantine's Bridge (Latin: Pons per Danuvium Ductus, [4] Bulgarian: Константинов мост, Konstantinov most; Romanian: Podul lui Constantin cel Mare) was a Roman bridge over the Danube used to reconquer Dacia. It was completed in 328 AD and remained in use for four decades.
The Danube is linked to the North Sea via the Rhine–Main–Danube Canal, connecting the Danube at Kelheim with the Main at Bamberg. The river is also an important source of hydropower and drinking water. The Danube river basin is home to such fish species as pike, zander, huchen, Wels catfish, burbot and tench.
The bridge complex was built between 1890 and 1895 over the Danube, the Borcea branch of the Danube, and Balta Ialomiței island.When it was completed with a total length (including viaducts) of 4,087.95 m (13,411.9 ft) it became the longest bridge in Europe and the second longest in the world. [2]
The fortress is located on the mountain crest (St. Georgsberg) on the left side of the Danube between it and the Ilz and dominates the old city of Passau, which it faces across the Danube. Below Oberhaus on the promontory between the two rivers is Veste Niederhaus, part of the fortress system.
