Superbike World Championship (also known as WorldSBK, SBK, World Superbike, WSB, or WSBK) is a silhouette road racing series based on heavily modified production sports motorcycles. The championship was founded in 1988. The Superbike World Championship consists of a series of rounds held on permanent racing facilities.
WSBK-TV (channel 38) is an independent television station in Boston, Massachusetts, United States. It is owned by the CBS News and Stations group alongside CBS outlet WBZ-TV (channel 4). The two stations share studios on Soldiers Field Road in the Allston–Brighton section of Boston.
The 2024 Superbike World Championship was the 37th season of the Superbike World Championship. Toprak Razgatlıoğlu, who had previously won the championship in 2021, won his second Superbike world title, [1] and marked BMW's first rider's title since entering world-level superbikes in 2011.
The provisional 2023 season calendar was announced on 8 November 2022. [1] It was then updated on 28 February 2023 to announce the seventh round at Imola Circuit on 14–16 July. [2]
