Albert Johnson (November 2, 1974 – June 20, 2017), known professionally as Prodigy, was an American rapper and record producer. He was best known for being in the rap duo Mobb Deep along with Havoc , yet Johnson still had a solo career, regularly collaborating with producer The Alchemist .
Maxim live in Philadelphia, 2009. After the Prodigy's intense touring to support The Fat of the Land, Maxim worked on his solo projects, and in 1998 he released "Dog Day" on the XL Recordings compilation CD Against the Grain, [8] which also featured Howlett's "Dirtchamber Remix" of "Diesel Power" (from The Fat of the Land).
H.N.I.C. (an acronym for Head Nigga in Charge) is the debut solo studio album by American rapper Prodigy.Originally scheduled for a summer 2000 release, the album was ultimately released on November 14, 2000 through Prodigy's Infamous Records, Loud Records, SRC Records, and Sony Music.
Prodigy, who made up one half of Mobb Deep, has recently died at 42.
Havoc was born in Brooklyn and raised in the Queensbridge Houses.At a later age, Havoc found out his paternal grandfather was jazz musician Bill Dixon. [1] He graduated from the High School of Art and Design in Manhattan, New York in 1992, where he met Prodigy.
