The Goshen Historic District, added in 1983 to the National Register of Historic Places [16] is bounded by Pike, RR, Cottage, Plymouth, Main, Purl, the Canal, and Second Sts. with the Elkhart County Courthouse at its center. In April 2006, Goshen was the site of an immigration march.
