Planet Sheen premiered in the United States on Nickelodeon on October 2, 2010, and continued to air there until August 18, 2011. The series was moved to Nicktoons on May 4, 2012, to air the remaining episodes until February 15, 2013. Planet Sheen continued to air reruns on Nicktoons until May 5, 2015.
The show follows an 11-year-old genius from the fictitious town of Retroville, Texas, the eponymous character, as he goes on adventures with his best friends Carl Wheezer and Sheen Estevez. [1] Throughout the show, various mishaps and conflicts occur on these adventures, as Jimmy's various inventions go awry.
Nickelodeon aired episodes from this season sporadically until December 10, 2011. The episode segments "Robo-mance" and "Rattleskunkupine!" aired on February 11, 2012 after a 2-month hiatus. Many months later, between October 15, 2012 and November 2, 2012, Nickelodeon aired a total of 29 new Fanboy and Chum Chum episode segments from Season 2. [14]

Sheen would later star in his own spin-off show, Planet Sheen, which premiered in 2010. In this series, he goes into Jimmy's lab and steals his new rocket ship, which crash lands on the planet Zeenu -- a possible reference to Xenu.
