The NHRA Summernationals, hosted by the National Hot Rod Association (NHRA), was an annual drag racing event held from 1970 to 1992, 2002 to 2017 and again in 2020, mostly at the Old Bridge Township Raceway Park in New Jersey.
Following are the results of the 2006 NHRA Powerade Drag Racing Series season. The 2006 season would be the last time a national event would be held at National Trail Raceway near Columbus, Ohio. The event was replaced with the Summit Racing Equipment Nationals at Summit Motorsports Park in Norwalk the next year.
The premier feature of Lucas Oil Raceway is a 4,400-foot (1,300 m) long drag strip. The single NHRA event held at the facility is the oldest and most prestigious of the series.
