Franklin Delano Roosevelt High School is a coeducational public high school in New York City, located at 5800 20th Avenue in the borough of Brooklyn.It is a zoned/public high school, with an enrollment of approximately 3,700 students, encompassing grades 9–12.
Construction began in 1938 and was one of three schools erected as a Depression-era Public Works Administration project in Hyde Park. [3] It was originally called the Franklin Delano Roosevelt Junior-Senior High School and may be the only public high school in the United States built under the auspices of, and named for, a sitting president.

The Theodore Roosevelt High School was a public high school opened in 1926, operated by Yonkers Public Schools, located on the corner of Tuckahoe Road and Central Park Avenue in Yonkers, New York. It shared its campus with Early College High School from 2010, which completely replaced Roosevelt High School in 2013.

The history of the Campus dates back to the Eastern District High School, a defunct public high school. Eastern District was founded in 1900 and was originally located at Driggs Avenue and South 3rd Street. It later moved to 227 Marcy Avenue, and finally to 850 Grand Street in 1981. [1] It was a comprehensive high school.
