Luxembourg Song Contest was the competition that selected Luxembourg's entry for the Eurovision Song Contest 2024. The competition featured eight acts and took place on 27 January 2024 at the Rockhal in Esch-sur-Alzette, hosted by Désirée Nosbusch who had previously presented the 1984 edition of the Eurovision Song Contest held in Luxembourg City, Melody Funck, Raoul Roos and Loïc Juchem.
"La poupée monte le son" (French: [la pupe mɔ̃t lə sɔ̃]; lit. ' The doll turns up the volume ') is a song by Luxembourgish singer Laura Thorn.A nod to Luxembourg’s winning Eurovision entry in 1965, the song was released on 20 December 2024, and was written by Julien Salvia and Ludovic-Alexandre Vidal.
The accompanying theme art for 2024, named "The Eurovision Lights", was unveiled on 14 December. Designed by Stockholm-based agencies Uncut and Bold Scandinavia, it was based on simple, linear gradients inspired by vertical lines found on auroras and sound equalisers , and was built with adaptability across different formats taken into account.
