The 2024 Maharashtra Legislative Assembly election was held on 20 November 2024 to elect all 288 members of the state's Legislative Assembly to elect 288 members of the 15th Maharashtra Legislative Assembly. [2] The turnout for the election was 66.05%, the highest since 1995. The ruling Maha Yuti alliance won a landslide victory, winning 235 seats.
Mandekar won from Bhor Assembly constituency representing the Nationalist Congress Party in the 2024 Maharashtra Legislative Assembly election. He polled 126,455 votes and defeated his nearest rival and three time MLA, Sangram Anantrao Thopate of the Indian National Congress , by a margin of 19,638 votes. [ 4 ]
