Napoleonville, is a village and the parish seat of Assumption Parish, in the U.S. state of Louisiana. [2] The population was 660 at the 2010 census. [3] It is part of the Pierre Part Micropolitan Statistical Area.
Paincourtville was the birthplace of former Louisiana State Representatives Samuel A. LeBlanc I LeBlanc represented Assumption Parish from 1912 to 1916 and was thereafter a state court judge. Former State Senator J. E. Jumonville Sr. was born in Paincourtville in 1919 but later lived in Pointe Coupee Parish .
