Toshimitsu Deyama (Japanese: 出山 利三, Hepburn: Deyama Toshimitsu, born October 10, 1965), known exclusively by his stage name Toshi, [Note 1] is a Japanese singer and songwriter who is the lead vocalist and a co-founder of the rock band X Japan, who rose to prominence in the late 1980s and early 1990s and is credited as founders of the visual kei movement.
The surviving members of X Japan, Yoshiki, guitarist Pata and bassist Heath, reunited with Toshi and made their first public appearance on October 22, 2007, on the rooftop of the shopping center Aqua City in Odaiba, Tokyo, to film a music video for a new song, "I.V.". [6]

The Last Live is an X Japan live album released on May 5, 2001. It contains what was the band's last concert, recorded at the Tokyo Dome on December 31, 1997. [1] The band, however, has since reunited, though this was their last live concert with guitarist Hideto "hide" Matsumoto, who died nearly half a year thereafter. [2]
