María del Carmen Sallés y Barangueras (9 April 1848 – 25 July 1911), also known by her religious name Carmen of Jesus, was a Spanish Roman Catholic professed religious and the founder of the Missionary Sisters of the Immaculate Conception (Latin: Congregationem Sororum Conceptionistarum Missionariarum, Spanish: Congregación de las Religiosas Concepcionistas Misioneras de la Enseñanza).
The order "Missionary Sisters of the Immaculate Conception of Mary" (RCM, Concepcionistas Misioneras de la Enseñanza) was founded in 1892 in Burgos, Spain by sister St. Carmen Sallés y Barangueras along with three other sisters. The sisters opened schools in several parts of Spain.
