The 2024–25 Namibia Premiership will be the third season of the Namibia Premiership, the top-tier football league in Namibia. African Stars are the reigning champions after winning the championship for the second consecutive season.
Despite a planned debut season in 2021, the league finally played its first season in 2022-23 after securing major sponsorship funding. [1] Originally called the Namibia Premier Football League, the league was renamed the Namibia Premiership with the significant sponsorship of N$ 13 million provided by Debmarine.
Khomas NAMPOL FC was founded in 2014. The club won the First Division Southern Stream in 2023 to earn promotion to the Namibia Premiership for the first time. [2] Ahead of their first top-flight campaign, the club won a pre-season tournament which featured four other Premiership clubs and Matebele FC of the Botswana Premier League.
The Namibian Police Force replaced the South West African Police as the national police force of the country in 1990. Sebastian Ndeitunga was its inspector general since 2005 to 2022.
