You can obtain a printed copy of an electronic title for $12.95 for vehicles, $7.95 for vessels, and $9.95 for off-highway vehicles (including a $2.95 credit card convenience fee). Titles in more than one name separated by "or" can be sold by any of the individuals.
General Information. The Tax Collector works as an agent for the Department of Highway Safety and Motor Vehicles in registering vehicles. Tag renewals can be obtained at any Florida tax collector's office. Most license plates expire at midnight of the registered owner's birthday (owned or leased).

Property tax bills are mailed by November 1. If your taxes are paid by your mortgage company, you will receive an information only copy of the tax bill. Property taxes are normally due and payable on November 1 of each year, but are assessed as of January 1 of the same year.
