If the key continuously spins in the lock and the storm door is unable to lock, the linkages inside the key cylinder activating the deadbolt may need to be realigned. To realign the linkages, follow the instructions provided below.

If the button on the push-button closer does not pop up or the closer rod is stuck in the extended position, this will prevent the storm door from closing. Under normal operation, make sure that the push-button was not accidentally pushed in.
Please check the screws to make sure they were not overtightened during installation, following the instructions provided below. Overtightened screws can distort or twist the hinge rail and result in binding. Open the door panel and locate the screws that attach the hinge rail to the door panel.
