Sonexay Siphandone (Lao: ສອນ ໄຊ ສີ ພັນ ດອນ; born 26 January 1966) [1] is a Laotian politician who is serving as the Prime Minister of Laos since 30 December 2022. A member of the Lao People's Revolutionary Party (LPRP), he previously served as Deputy Prime Minister from 2016 to 2022.

Laos competed at the 2022 Asian Games in Hangzhou, Zhejiang, China, which began on 23 September 2023 and ended on 8 October 2023. The event was scheduled to be held in September 2022 but was postponed due to the rising COVID-19 cases in China. [1] The event was later rescheduled to be held in September–October 2023.
According to Article 91 of the Constitution of the Lao PDR, the People's Court of the Lao People's Democratic Republic "consists of the Supreme People's Court, the local people's court and the military court as defined by law". The Supreme People's Court of the Lao People's Democratic Republic was established in 1982. [2]
