The Boardwalk starts at Absecon Inlet and runs along the beach for 4 miles (6 km) to the city limit. An additional 1.5 miles (2.4 km) of the Boardwalk extends into Ventnor City. Casino/hotels front the boardwalk, as well as retail stores, restaurants, and amusements. Several piers extend the boardwalk over the Atlantic Ocean.

State Route 611 (SR 611) is an east–west state highway in the northern portion of the U.S. state of Ohio. The western terminus of SR 611 is at a partial interchange with US 6 in Lorain. Its eastern terminus is at a signalized intersection with SR 254 in Avon.
