Fernando Gabriel Tatís Medina Jr. (tah-TEES; born January 2, 1999), nicknamed "El Niño" or "Bebo", [1] is a Dominican professional baseball right fielder and shortstop for the San Diego Padres of Major League Baseball (MLB). He was an infielder in the Houston Astros system from 1969 through 1978, reaching as high as Class AAA before retiring and moving on to coaching and scouting Houston's minor leaguers.
