Philip Brian Scott (born August 4, 1958) is an American politician, businessman, and stock car racer who has been the 82nd governor of Vermont since 2017. A member of the Republican Party, he was a representative for the Washington District in the Vermont Senate from 2001 to 2011 and served as the 81st lieutenant governor of Vermont from 2011 to 2017.
It was owned by Vermont Radio, Inc. and was a sister station to WSYB (1380 AM). The call letters referred to its city of license, Rutland, Vermont. It took the WZRT call sign in 1989. Z97 branded itself as "The Official Ski Station" and later on as "The Official Ski and Ride Station."
Cheryl Mazzariello Hooker (born February 15, 1950) is an American politician. She has served in the Vermont Senate from the Rutland district since 2019. [1] She previously served in the Vermont Senate from 1997 to 1999 and several terms in the Vermont House of Representatives.

West Rutland is the central village and a census-designated place (CDP) in the town of West Rutland, Rutland County, Vermont, United States. As of the 2020 census, it had a population of 1,898, [2] out of 2,214 in the entire town of West Rutland. The CDP is in central Rutland County, in the southern part of the town.
