Jaipal Singh Munda, also known as Pramod Pahan, was born in a Munda tribal family, on 3 January 1903 in Takra-Hatudami, Pahan Toli village of what was then Khunti subdivision (now declared district) of the then district of Ranchi in the Bengal presidency of British India (in the present-day State of Jharkhand).
Nilkanth Singh Munda (born 1968) is an Indian political leader and a 5th term MLA from Khunti constituency. He was a Minister of Parliamentary Affairs and Rural Development in the Government of Jharkhand. He is one of the chief Bharatiya Janata Party leaders in the state. [1]

On 28 December 2014, Nilkanth Singh Munda, Chandreshwar Prasad Singh, Dr. Louis Marandi of BJP and Chandra Prakash Choudhary of All Jharkhand Students Union were sworn in as cabinet ministers along with Raghubar Das as Chief Ministers. Ram Dayal Munda (23 August 1939 – 30 September 2011), [1] known as R. D. Munda, was an Indian scholar and regional music exponent. He was awarded the Padma Shri of the year 2010 for his contribution to the field of art. [1] He was a vice-chancellor of Ranchi University [1] and a member of the upper house of the Indian Parliament. [2]
