Luffy attempt to fight back using Armament Haki, but his punches go right though him, much to Luffy's confusion, as Trebol question Luffy's assumption of his Devil Fruit being a Logia. Law tells Luffy that fighting Trebol is futile, while revealing Trebol's slime is in fact mucus, before he begins to insult Trebol and the other executives.
Luffy discovers the junkyard is named the Gray Terminal. Luffy runs after Ace when he steals the treasure and run into Sabo, a boy who lives there. Luffy discovers the stolen treasure and is tied up. Luffy screams and Porchemy, a member of the Bluejam Pirates, finds them. Luffy, Ace and Sabo escape, but Luffy is captured by Porchemy.
Luffy, Chopper, Jinbe, and Bonney evade the Pacifista after Bonney uses her Devil Fruit powers to confuse it. Jinbe reveals Kuma's backstory as a deposed king, later becoming a pirate and eventually a cyborg. Meanwhile, Lilith leads the other Straw Hats to Egghead's Labophase. There, they encounter a Seraphim resembling Jinbe.
Katakuri makes a shrine where he can eat in private. Luffy breaks out of the mochi he was buried under and shattered the shrine, exposing Katakuri's face. Katakuri then executes the chefs before resuming his attempts to kill Luffy. After managing to land a hit on Katakuri, Luffy says that he figures out how to beat him and activates Gear Fourth.
Luffy retorts with another Red Hawk, but Hordy is still standing. Chopper reveals he now only needs one Rumble Ball for his Monster Point, which he now has full control of. Usopp, Franky, Sanji and Jimbei prepare to end things with their opponents. Luffy attacks Hordy with Elephant Gun and finally defeats the fishman. Hordy wishes for the Noah ...
Meanwhile, Sanji and Franky beat up all the hazmat suit guys and Sanji wants to kill the samurai because he taunts his merciful behaviour. They then try to catch up with the children, Nami and Chopper. Brownbeard and the centaurs attempt to kill Luffy, Zoro, Usopp and Robin but Zoro cuts their cannons while Luffy deflects the rest.
Hancock petrifies Domino and the camera snail to allow Luffy to sneak out before submitting to the search. She boards the elevator to Warden Magellan on Level 4 while hearing about the different levels of the prison. Luffy sneaks into Level 1 while Buggy is in the middle of breaking out of his cell, having concealed his Devil Fruit ability.
