The link to SP 1 is no longer active and I think it's to do with MS no longer supporting the software from 18 September 2012. There doesn't seem to be a link to SP1 and 2 in the AVsim library ...

There are components in the SP1 and SP2 updates that are *not* included in Acceleration...installing all of the service packs in order is the right way to do it. Similarly, the SDKs for RTM, SP1, SP2, and Acceleration should all be installed in order as well, as they install different versions of Simconnect that coexist in a side-by-side ...

Posted February 13, 2014. Hello, I recently heard that when installing SP1 and SP2 you want to open up FSX after each install and perform maybe a five second flight. So, optimally, you install FSX, open it and perform a five second flight, then close it. Then you install SP1 and SP2 and repeat these steps for each of those installs.

SP2 is easily installed and uninstalled, although it is time-consuming to download.SP1 and SP2 both provide improvements to FSX. Possibly, you might find gains with SP1 only if you plan on importing only FS9 aircraft into your sim. Most (if not all) third-party developers for FSX use SP2 as their preferred version, as it has the most features.

    www.avsim.com/forums/topic/393055-difference-between-sp2-and-acceleration

Posted December 3, 2012. I always thought that the only difference between FSX SP2 and Acceleration was a few new aircraft, scenery and missions. Having used SP2 for the first time I see a lot of bugs in misssions and other places that weren't present in Acceleration. It makes me wonder if there are even more differences between the two.
