Posted August 31, 2019. Use vortex. It is better overall and works great. It does work differently to nmm though so it will require some learning to get used to nit it has a built in knowledge base that can help as well as several people here who could help if you have any issues. Not because it's any more or less intuitive (they're about the same imo) but because you'll have more community support (or even mod author support) if you get stuck. For added context, I want to try modding Baldur's Gate 3, but I don't know whether or not to trust the Vortex Mod Manager. Furthermore, it needs something called .NET 6.0+, which I have never heard of.
