I wont be hearing from the doctor until monday or tuesday and i am trying to figure out what those results mean? Summary of my resent echogram; 1-Low normal left ventricular function.

General definitions: Left ventricular systolic function is a measure of how well the lower left pumping section of the heart squeezes to send blood to the body.Ejection fraction (EF) is the % of blood that is pumped out with each heartbeat.A normal EF at rest usually ranges between 55& 70%.

ECHO: Normal Left ventricular size + wall thickness and wall motion, Normal biventricular systolic function, Mild MVP w/ trace regurgitation, EF 67%, RV systolic pressure 16mmHg, mild heart murmur. No symptoms. Help! Is this normal? My Echo showed borderline normal left ventricular with global hypokinesis what could possibly cause this. EF 50-55%?

What does systolic function preserved with an ef of 60% mean...please?! That is normal: Normal ef, ejection fraction, is when 50-55% or more of the blood in the left ventricle, the chamber that pumps the blood throughout the body (the right ventricle pumps the blood through the lungs) , is ejected with each heart beat. This occurs during systole.

I have non-dilated left ventricule with good biventricular systolic function. What does this mean and did I inherit it? I also have bradycardia. My stress echo test noted: apical septal wall segment is hypokinetic (score 2). The apical anterior wall segment is hypokinetic (score 2). My ef score was 65-70.
