The Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Information Technology is one of nine faculties at the RWTH Aachen University. It was separated from the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering in 1961. [1] RWTH has produced several notable individuals. Nobel Prize laureate Peter Debye received a degree in electrical engineering.
RWTH international logo. The Faculty of Business and Economics (new: RWTH Aachen University School of Business and Economics) is one of nine faculties at the RWTH Aachen University. It was founded in 1986. Approximately 1,500 students are enrolled in the faculty. It was renamed in RWTH Aachen University School of Business and Economics in 2011.
The faculty cooperates with Forschungszentrum Jülich and the 4 Fraunhofer Institutes in Aachen. Several projects are assisted by the Deutsche Forschungsgemeinschaft and the European Union. In the academic year 2019/20, approximately 9,700 students are enrolled in the faculty, which makes it the second largest faculty at the RWTH. [1]
