AB III is the third studio album by American rock band Alter Bridge, released on October 8, 2010.Produced by Michael Baskette, the album is a departure from the band's first two albums; lyrically, it is a loose concept album dealing with darker lyrical themes of struggling with faith, while musically, the album's sound is more dynamic and progressive than previous recordings. He started out playing in a band called Crosscut at 18. [2] He was a founding member of the band Creed. After Creed dissolved, he joined Alter Bridge in 2004 with fellow then-former Creed members bassist Brian Marshall and lead guitarist Mark Tremonti. He is a self-taught drummer, starting at age 18, and has also played piano and saxophone.
Alter Bridge's third album, AB III, was released on October 11, 2010, in Europe and the UK on Roadrunner Records, [27] and on November 9, 2010, in North America on Alter Bridge Recordings via EMI. Pawns & Kings is the seventh studio album by American rock band Alter Bridge. It is the follow-up to 2019's Walk the Sky. It was released on October 14, 2022, via Napalm Records. It was ranked as the second best guitar album of 2022 by Guitar World readers, [11] who also ranked the solo of the title track as the 5th best guitar solo of 2022. [12]
