TX 183 begins in south Fort Worth, near Hulen Mall, heading to the northwest as a freeway from an interchange with I-20 and the Chisholm Trail Parkway. Entitled Southwest Boulevard, TX 183 crosses the Clear Fork of the Trinity River and meets Vickery Boulevard in a folded diamond interchange, from which it reverts to a three-lane arterial road.
