The Sunshine Boys is a 1975 American comedy film directed by Herbert Ross and produced by Ray Stark, released by Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer and based on the 1972 play by Neil Simon about two legendary (and cranky) comics brought together for a reunion and revival of their famous vaudeville act.
A long-standing member of Theatre West, Stuart also performed in local Theatre Forty productions of Absurd Person Singular and The Sunshine Boys. Roy Stuart died at age 78 of cancer at the Motion Picture Hospital, Woodland Hills, California. [1] He is survived by his companion, Claude Hubert. [2]
