Chinmayi in 2008. Chinmayi Sripaada is an Indian playback singer, working mainly for the South Indian film industry. She has produced songs since 2002 and done work in Tamil, Telugu, Hindi, Malayalam, Kannada, Marathi, Gujarati, Konkani, Sanskrit and Tulu.
The song "Anbil Avan" from the film Vinnaithaandi Varuvaayaa is composed by A. R. Rahman. [3] Recently, he sang "Nahna na Na" for Director Venkat Prabhu's Biriyani, composed by Yuvan Shankar Raja. Two different remix versions of the song include "New Jack Swing Mix" and "The Extended Mix".
The official audio of Vinnaithaandi Varuvaayaa was released at the BAFTA Awards held at London on 25 December 2009, which was attended by several film personalities, including the lead actors Silambarasan and Trisha, composer A. R. Rahman, lyricist Thamarai, director Gautham Vasudev Menon amongst others attending the event, which also featured a live unplugged performance.
