Adam LaMarque Jones (born August 1, 1985) is an American former professional baseball outfielder. He played in Major League Baseball (MLB) for the Seattle Mariners, Baltimore Orioles and Arizona Diamondbacks and in Nippon Professional Baseball (NPB) for the Orix Buffaloes. The Mariners selected Jones in the first round of the 2003 MLB draft.

BALTIMORE (AP) — Former Baltimore Orioles outfielder Adam Jones was honored before Friday night’s game against the Tampa Bay Rays, hours after he signed a ceremonial contract and retired with the franchise with which he spent the bulk of his career.
Adam Jones, who last played in the Majors in 2019, is set to retire as an Oriole in a pregame ceremony on Sept. 15 at Camden Yards. It’s been nearly five years since Jones last suited up for the Orioles, but he’ll forever hold a special place with the franchise.
