Ah damn. This was one of the best burgers I've ever had. Only this particular location of Burbs Burgers was really good. The Pioneer Square one somehow wasn't the same, even though it was the same ingredients. The health department isn't going to shut your restaurant down for having a bathroom and some extra seating.

So, I was watching Joe Dante's classic The Burbs with my wife recently, and she was asking what other films we might watch in the same tonal wheelhouse. The first few things I thought of were similar Dante-type movies such as Gremlins or Small Soldiers, or going further into the horror world, schlocky stuff like say, Chopping Mall.
I show the burbs with my friends in our backyard on a cul-de-sac every year.
