Holly Bay Campground is located on the west side of Laurel River Lake. The campground offers 75 RV sites that may be reserved. All walk-in sites and non-reserved site are on a first-come first-served basis. Each site has a paved vehicle pad, gravel tent pad, fire ring, picnic table, and lantern poles. The drive-in sites have electricity and water.
Holly Bay Campground and Grove Campground at Laurel River Lake are operated by concessionaires under a special-use permit with the U.S. Forest Service. Camping fees and open seasons vary. The campgrounds are generally open mid-April through mid-October.
The campground is normally open from mid April to the end of October. 70 sites can accommodate RVs and trailers between 20 and 90 feet. Reservations can be booked up to 6 months in advance. Each site includes a picnic table and fire ring with grill. 70 sites have electric and water hookups.
