The Golden Model 39A started life as the Marlin Model 1891, the first lever-action rifle ever chambered in .22LR and the magazine was loaded through a conventional side gate in the receiver. The tubular magazine was changed to front-loading with the Model 1892 , due to the difficulties of receiver feeding the small rimfire round . [ 2 ]

In the 39A family many parts are interchangeable back to the Model of 1897 (minor fitting by a competent gunsmith on some parts may be required) so they are basically the same rifle: differences over the years have been minor, often just cosmetic: sights, stock, barrel and magazine length. The Marlin Model 1894 is a lever-action repeating rifle introduced in 1894 by the Marlin Firearms Company of North Haven, Connecticut. At its introduction the rifle came with a 24-inch barrel and was chambered for a variety of rounds such as .25-20 Winchester , .32-20 Winchester , .38-40 , and .44-40 .
The Model 110 was designed by Nicholas L. Brewer in 1958 and was patented posthumously in 1963. It has been in continuous production since that time, and with the closing of Winchester's New Haven, Connecticut, plant in 2007, the Model 110 has passed the Winchester Model 70 as the oldest continuously manufactured bolt-action rifle in America.

The Marlin Model 70P, also known as the Marlin Papoose, is a .22 Long Rifle semi-automatic rifle manufactured by Marlin Firearms. The rifle is notable for its portability; it is less than 21 inches (530 mm) in length when disassembled and weighs 3.25 pounds. Disassembly requires loosening a barrel retention nut by hand or with a supplied tool.
The stock was made of walnut-finished Maine birch. [1] [3] The Camp carbine uses a detachable magazine that inserts into the magazine well in front of the trigger guard. The Camp-45 rifle magazine is compatible with most Colt 1911–type magazines; and the Camp-9 rifle magazine can be replaced by magazines from 59-series S&W pistols. [1]
