Phạm Trịnh Phương Thảo, also known by the stage name Thanh Thảo (8 March 1977), is a female Vietnamese singer and actress. Her best known song is Búp bê đẹp xinh (The Beautiful Doll) 2002. [1] Her stage name Thanh Thao was chosen so as to not be mistaken with singer Phuong Thao.
Thanh had a strong desire to sing. Her performing was excellent and her voice appealing and she soon found herself singing at wedding parties and restaurants all around Vietnam. She was not yet a star, but her family's economic situation improved greatly. She would ultimately become one of the most renowned Vietnamese female singers.

On October 8, Nhi won Best Vietnamese Female Artist from the Big Apple Music Awards 2016. On November 6, 2016, she won Best Asian Artist at the 2016 MTV EMAs. On January 3, 2017, Nhi was a coach on the fourth season of The Voice of Vietnam , alongside Thu Minh , Tóc Tiên , and Noo Phước Thịnh.
She only attempted to perform Vietnamese classic hit songs that praised or mentioned Vietnam wars, patriotism, fatherland, and love in wars. Her second albums Lời cuối (Last quote) was released in 2003. Though the songs and vocal technique were well received, her popularity and sales were still low.
