St. Martin Parish (French: Paroisse de Saint-Martin) is a parish located in the U.S. state of Louisiana, founded in 1811.Its parish seat is St. Martinville, and the largest city is Breaux Bridge. [1]
The city of Breaux Bridge is zoned to Breaux Bridge Primary School (Grades PK-2), Breaux Bridge Elementary (Grades 3-5), Breaux Bridge Junior High School (Grades 6-8), and Breaux Bridge High School (Grades 9-12). In April 2004, A&P purchased four New Orleans stores from Albertsons with the intention of converting them under the Sav-A-Center banner. Farther back from the Central Business District is the Tulane/Gravier neighborhood. At Tulane and Broad are the Courthouse and Orleans Parish Prison.
