If you got it from the Microsoft Store as a widget, simply go to Settings > Apps > Installed app, and find the Facebook app to uninstall it. Alternatively, if you installed it through Microsoft Edge, you can remove it by typing edge://apps into the Edge search bar and removing Facebook from there by clicking three-dots menu (...) then Uninstall.
I suggest you to left click on the Window key and see if you are able to see the Facebook app and right click on the app and click the uninstall option. If the above step doesn't help then press Windows key +I and select System then click Apps and features and click on the Facebook app and you will see an option to uninstall and see if It helps.

Can i uninstall FaceBook then re-install. I've got a problem i cannot solve. My FaceBook pictures have vanished from my screen, i've got everyone's names but cannot put a face to their name's. So far i've had ten attempt's at fixing it using any solutions i could find in the forum's.

The other icons almost always visible are Store, LinkedIn, EBay, Skype, Maps, Facebook, and Rewards. Since I never use LinkedIn, Ebay, Skype, or Facebook, I want to delete these items from that bar -- or at least relegate them to the right of the visible area.
My contacts list is including Facebook contacts. I can't remove or otherwise delete them, but I've got nearly 3,000 "friends" on Facebook, and don't want them cluttering up my contacts list. If I go to my account settings where it shows "Apps and services you've given access", it says "You haven't given access to any apps or services yet.
