Republic TV exists because there is a demand for it. If only the other news channels would not have a left bent and would not share opinions instead of news, there would be no demand for it. Most people these days tend to live in an echo chamber and such channels (NDTV etc.) help to confirm their biases, in fact you could have even call ...
The Old Republic franchise has remained "pure" because Kathleen Kennedy and her Star Wars story Group don't give a crap about the franchise. However they are making a "reimagining" of the first Knights of the Old Republic game, rewriting parts of the original story, so fingers crossed the KOTOR remake isn't shite, but it probably will be.
I was looking up news channels, and it's something I've noticed in general but I don't see Republic TV pop up as much as I used to. Back in 2020 I remember republic tv being everywhere. Their videos were being circulated everywhere. You couldn't look up Indian news without seeing Arnab Goswami or his news minions. Now it's pretty scarce in ...
The last two less significant points, is the "Battle Hymn of the Republic" played in the series was done so by the Mormon Tabernacle Choir, and the vault dwellers would be considered the most (prepared) richeous for the end of the world. Same here. No luck with google's music ID either. Actually, I think Google worked once but couldn't get it ...
This is the first episode of the South Korean historical political drama, The Fifth Republic, subtitled in English. This series covers the 1979 rise to power of a little known two-star general in the South Korean army.
While I am absolutely gutted that the NCR appears to have been brought to its knees in the TV show, I strongly disagree that they've done the NCR dirty. The NCR did such a good job that they were seen as a legitimate competitor by VT and so many survivors of Shady Sands still have a strong emotional connection to the NCR and what it stood for.
The Old Republic era can be the diamond in the rough for Star Wars cinema and TV. General Discussion I think one of the main reasons (among others) that the Disney+ shows aren't doing too hot is because they take place in parts of the timeline that no one really cares about, or don't find very interesting.
An animated show would be more likely if it ever happens. Especially since you'd have to deep fake all the clones' faces for live action. If you're already committed to making your leads CGI, and you know your market is happy with CGI products, what's the incentive to take on the additional expense
Hell, I know Thrawn trilogy isn’t old republic era, but I could totally see it as a TV series with 3 seasons (each book nicely makes up 1 season). Of course, that’s assuming the Ahsoka TV series isn’t going to be a loose adaptation of the Thrawn trilogy, which it seems to be.
I have always wanted a show that explores the old republic and the mandalorian wars. I made a video discussing my idea for how a season of the show would goand I wanted you guys’ thoughts on it If you do watch the video you could skip to about 4 minutes in as that is when the episodes actually start.
