I've been working on this bike for a while now, it started out as an all stock Baja Warrior WR65 that I traded for. Been working on getting it street legal for a while now, I want it to be ready for this spring. For performance I have removed the gov, added a billet rod, 26# springs, .265...

The bike sits high, but it is comfortable to ride. There is a lot of room from seat to foot pegs. I am 6'3" and 210 lbs and my knees never hit the bars, not even on tight maneuvers on the trail. I have not had any major problems with the bike. The engine is strong and has lots of torque.

  7. custom mini bike frame - OldMiniBikes.com

Built this a few years ago got it to a roller status, took it back apart to make finishing touches and its just been sitting around. This is custom modified from a early 70's Powerdyne frame and forks. It has been chopped like 3-4 inches down and axle points have been raised to lower the bike.

    www.oldminibikes.com/forum/index.php?threads/heathkit-hilltopper.123085

The Hilltopper is my favorite bike. Have 2 of them. One of the main reasons it's my favorite is it's bigger size and adults don't look ridiculous riding it like the smaller Rupps, etc. Thinking about selling one of my Hilltoppers. Not sure if I will sell the 100% correct bike which I don't ride often or the 85% correct that I ride weekly. Take care

Hey guys. After hearing my dad talk about his taco mini bike and how badass they were back in the day, I decided to find somethin to mess with. I cant afford a taco thats for dang sure. I was wondering what bikes are out there decently priced, I'd even be interested in a decent kit. Also. What kind of tires should I look for if I am a big dude.

  10. Pics of a Herter's or Terra-Cat fat tire mini bike

    www.oldminibikes.com/forum/index.php?threads/pics-of-a-herters-or-terra-cat...

Here are a few pictures of a Herters mini bike I used to own and a Hilltopper. The Heathkit Hilltopper is very comparable and probably easier to find than the Herters Trail . These 2 mini bikes are completely different to ride than a Terra Cat or El Burro type which have no suspension [except in the soft tires ].

  11. Preserving a Survivor: 1971 Rupp Black Widow - OldMiniBikes.com

    www.oldminibikes.com/forum/index.php?threads/preserving-a-survivor-1971-rupp...

One glaring example is the complete lack of production numbers and no rhyme or reason to the ID tags (beyond the "2" indicating a Widow). I've heard from vintage karters that Rupp had issues with inventory for book-keeping, for example counting an ID tag as a mini-bike, when in reality it was nothing more than a tag.
