Report abuse. Yes, WordPad is free. It's part of Windows 10. However you should note that Word is really just a glorified text editor, not a real word processing program. If your formatting needs are very slight, it may do for you, but if your needs are greater, you may need a better program.
After successful uninstallation, it is recommended that you restart. Then in the same interface, select "Add a feature", then enter "Wordpad" in the search box, select Install, and then check whether the application is normal. I wish the above will be helpful to you. Wordpad is part of Windows 10, it is free and should already be on your PC . . . Click your Start Button, then just type wordpad and hit Enter, does Wordpad open? If so, to make that more accessible: Click your Start Button, type Wordpad, then from the resulting list, right click Wordpad and choose 'Pin to Start'
