Circa (stylized as CIRCA:) is a progressive rock supergroup [1] founded by four musicians associated with Yes: former Yes members Alan White (drums), and Tony Kaye (Hammond, keyboards), current Yes members Billy Sherwood (vocals, bass guitar) and Jay Schellen (drums), and guitarist Jimmy Haun, who played on the Yes album Union.

Anthony John Selvidge (born 11 January 1946), known professionally as Tony Kaye, is an English keyboardist, best known as a founding member of the progressive rock band Yes. Born into a musical family, Kaye was classically trained and intended to become a concert pianist before he developed an interest in jazz and contemporary rock and pop music.
The band released the EP Translating the Name on June 17, 2003. [2] It was an immediate underground success and was immensely popular on online forums and music sites. Preorders of the album came with a bonus CD containing two acoustic versions of songs from the EP. Translating The Name (2003) has sold an estimated 62,000 copies as of 2008. [3]
