Anyone have luck with the SIG MPX folding brace on a Ruger PC charger? cferree - Your GRM-15 and the PC-9 are mechanically the same only configured different. The 15 has a captured buffer system and BCG and the PC-9 has a bolt with an integrated weight with recoil spring. The weight of the bolt systems on the PC-9 should be around 22oz.
Which would be your choice and why between these pistols: Ruger PC Charger, Scorpion, Stribog A1, Stribog A3 or PSA AK-V in 9mm. All with folding brace, would be a range toy and some light competition. Eventually SBR'd. I voted Scorpion, because you specified a short gun. Ruger is peerless in long guns if you exclude MPX and Resolute.

So no big bulky rifle light on the PC Charger. You can keep the faster takedown of the gun by zipping off part of the handstop, but since I largely keep mine assembled there's no bother. Going to try to move it back one more slot on the mlok rail though. Make 100% sure of the location before I chop it. Attached File.
