Other than the neat sounding Charter Arms linked above, the only current production commonly available 9mm revolver I'm aware of is the Ruger Blackhawk Convertible - a single action pistol. Love mine has it almost 25+ years now, great shooter in 38/357 or 9mm.

  3. Snub nose revolver for self defense 9mm or 38sp - Smith & Wesson...

The .38spl is a tried and true round inside a great J-frame or Colt DS. I always looked at the 9mm short-barreled revolver kind of gimmicky. My two cents. "Gimmiky" is a most appropriate way to put it, but I suppose ballistically, if you get the best ammo for each, the 9mm isn't far behind the .38 Special.

Charter Arms vs. Taurus 9mm revolver. I've been eye-ballin' a Charter Arms Pitbull in 9mm for the wifey. She does like her wheel gunz!: We have one in stock at the L.G.S. where I work. It seems like a well built piece. We don't have the Taurus 905ss2 in stock right now so I can't compare side-by-side.

The main advantage of a 9mm revolver IMO is the fun of a revolver using the same cheap ammo that you use in your semi-auto (caliber consolidation). I mainly own 9mm handguns, so for me it is a great alternative to having to stock more expensive .357 or .38.

  11. bring back the s&w model 547 9mm revolver - Smith & Wesson Forum

In a speed loader, 9MM has a substantially smaller size for carrying than .38 Spl. It’s even better if you start talking about moon clips. Another of my preferences are the K-Frame S&W series, which is one of the reasons I liked the 547 so much, however, I feel that the J-Frames are practically made for the concept of 9MM in a revolver.
