Jones is an anchor around this team’s neck. Once he hits adversity joe judge’s spirit appears and tells him “no mistakes son.” Then he goes into qb paralysis. Sanders has the accuracy and poise to hit these moments with aplomb. He’s been in the limelight his whole life, he’s mentally prepared for big moments. He has all the tools/toughness. Bring Deion and Shadeur to NY next year!

At some point Eli will be in the NFL HOF. Two Super Bowl MVPs override any other conversation. The NFL HOF is filled with Super Bowl winners.
In 13 years, he made 8 Pro Bowls. He had a 5 year stretch of dominance from 1955-1959 where he did the following... That's an amazing prime for any player, nothing short of dominant. But let's take a more specific look at that 1956 season which is on the shortlist for best in Giants history.
Eli Manning may have been inconsistent, but when he had to win the game when needed, he always has pulled through. He becomes a better player in the playoffs and beat Tom Brady twice. Not sure if the injury is affecting his deep throw. There is still alot of football left & anything can happen. We can only hope for the best & go from there.

There is a real chance that we are 2 years into a 6-8 year period where we hover slightly below .500 overall and make a wild card every few years. 9-7-1 (wild card) 6-11 7-10 9-8 (wild card) 7-10 ... I think there is a miniscule chance that we rise to the top level.
We could easily be 5-1. Should have, could have, would have. I've tried like hell to have faith in Jones... But six games in, it's clear (as many have said forever) that we're cooked as long as he's at the helm. It's sad because the roster is much improved from top to bottom.
