Military College Sui is a military school located in the town of Sui in the Balochistan province of Pakistan. It is owned and operated by the Pakistan Army and feeds the Pakistan Military Academy, Kakul. Previously, it was known as Sui Cantonment. [1]
Students at these academies are organized as cadets, and graduate with appropriate licenses from the U.S. Coast Guard and/or the U.S. Merchant Marine.While not immediately offered a commission as an officer within a service, cadets do have the opportunity to participate in commissioning programs like the Strategic Sealift Officer Program (Navy) and Maritime Academy Graduate (Coast Guard).
In Pakistan the system of cadet colleges was introduced by the then president of Pakistan Field Marshal Ayub Khan.The first cadet college was built in Punjab in 1954. The initial four cadet colleges were Cadet College Hasan Abdal, Cadet College Kohat, Faujdarhat Cadet College (then East Pakistan, now in Bangladesh) and Cadet College Petaro.
