Jamboree's page states that this game is a successor to Super Mario Party, which I'm not denying.However, I think that this game is also a successor to Mario Party Superstars because of this game featuring returning minigames from previous Mario Party games as well as boards from the first two Party games, not to mention a similar minigame menu to Superstars' "Mt. Minigames" menu.
