The Ottawa Commercial Historic District is a historic district in downtown Ottawa, Illinois. The district includes 195 buildings and structures, most of them commercial buildings, spread out over 26 city blocks. The oldest buildings in the district, located near the Illinois and Fox rivers, were built in the 1830s.

The school's athletic team, known as the Pirates, competed in the North Central Illinois Conference for decades. Beginning with the 2010–2011 school year, they are competing in the newly formed Northern Illinois Big 12 Conference. [3]
In 1946, the school became a co-ed facility known as Ottawa Catholic High School. This only lasted three years, when the name was changed to Marquette High School in honor of Fr. Jacques Marquette. The original St. Xavier's building served as the high school facility until 1991, when it was torn down.

Pineview (also spelled Pine View) is a neighbourhood in Beacon Hill-Cyrville Ward in the east end of Ottawa, Ontario, Canada. [1] Prior to amalgamation in 2001, the neighbourhood was part of the City of Gloucester. As of the Canada 2021 Census, the neighbourhood had a population of 6,179.
